The new M/V Stella Australis, with 100 cabins and three lounges, launches in December 2010 with capacity for 210 passengers.
We offer two weekly programs from each departure city: Punta Arenas and Ushuaia. Our programs from Punta Arenas depart on Saturdays and Tuesdays and are always 4-night sailings; and our Ushuaia departures are on Wednesdays and Saturdays and are always 3-night cruises.
Our passengers visit one of the most pristine regions at the southernmost tip of the world.
Disembarkations into uninhabited islands and fjords take place daily in Zodiac motorized rafts, allowing passengers to see penguins and other wildlife colonies, the region's most important glaciers, and Cape Horn.
Daily lectures on specialized area subjects (Glaciology, Native Cultures, Navigation Routes, Flora and Fauna, and Penguins) will complement the experience.
